Criminal police operatives together with investigators of Lviv District Police Department No. 2 exposed the perpetrator, who sold the particularly dangerous psychotropic substance “RVP”.
As the law enforcement officers established, a 33-year-old man from Lviv sold narcotics on the territory of Lviv. He was detained in his own apartment after another execution in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
During the authorized search of the detainee’s apartment, law enforcement officers discovered and seized the particularly dangerous psychotropic substance “PVP”, money obtained from illegal activities, and other material evidence. Everything seized was sent for examination to the Scientific Research Expert Forensic Center of the Police of Lviv Oblast.
Investigators of the territorial division of the police, under the procedural guidance of the Frankiv District Prosecutor’s Office, informed the detainee of the suspicion of committing the crime provided for in part 2 of Article 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, forwarding or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues ) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the article is imprisonment for a term of six to ten years with confiscation of property.

Communications Department of the Lviv Oblast Police
