A local resident is suspected of sending information about the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the front-line Liman to the enemy
Under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a resident of Lyman was notified of suspicion of collaborative activity (Part 7, Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, in May 2022, through the Odnoklassniki social network, banned in Ukraine, the man sent representatives of the illegal armed formation of the so-called “DNR” data on the locations of deployment, methods of movement and camouflage of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the territory of the Lyman territorial community.
The figure was exposed on the territory of the school, which is located in one of the villages. Lviv region, where he was under the guise of an internally displaced person.
At the prosecutor’s request, the court chose the most severe preventive measure for the suspect – detention without bail.
The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the SBU Department in the Lviv region.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
