In Lviv, a minor scooter driver was injured as a result of a car collision – the police are investigating the circumstances
The traffic accident happened on April 3, around 3:45 p.m., on Stryyska Street in Lviv.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the Volkswagen Jetta, a 29-year-old man from Lviv, hit a scooter driven by a 12-year-old resident of Lviv.
As a result of the accident, the boy was injured and taken to the hospital.
According to the fact, the investigators of the police department No. 2 of the Lviv district police department No. 2 opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum punishment provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
The police are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
