In Zhovkva, the police detained a female intruder who stabbed a roommate

The detainee, a 44-year-old resident of the Kherson region, who has previously been held criminally liable on several occasions, faces a penalty of up to eight years in prison.

On October 28, around 3:00 p.m., the police received a report from medics that a man had been stabbed in one of the houses on Lesya Ukrainka Street in Zhovkva.

The investigative team and other employees of police department #2 of Lviv district police department #1 worked at the scene.

The police established that on that day a conflict arose between the 42-year-old owner of the house and his roommate, a 44-year-old resident of the Kherson region, during which the woman stabbed the man. Doctors diagnosed a puncture wound in the lower leg of the right leg and provided the necessary assistance to the victim. Currently, nothing threatens his health and life.

According to the fact, the investigators of the territorial division of the police opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 121 (Intentional grievous bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of five to eight years.

The perpetrator was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, and soon the court will choose a preventive measure for her.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
