The traffic accident happened on August 12 at 6:50 p.m. on the Zolochiv-Krasne highway, near the village of Petrychi
As previously established by law enforcement officers, the driver of the Volkswagen Golf, a 44-year-old resident of the city of Busk, was unable to control the vehicle – the vehicle went to the side of the road and overturned.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the Golf and four of his passengers – two men aged 34 and 50 and two women aged 39 and 41 – were injured and taken to the hospital. All the injured are residents of Lviv Oblast.
According to the fact, the investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
An investigation is being conducted, doctors are clarifying the diagnoses of the victims, law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
