Unfortunately, as a result of car accidents, 17 children died, and another 473 children were injured.
In 2023, 475 traffic accidents involving children were registered on the roads of Lviv and the region, 403 of which involved victims.
Law enforcement officers call on parents: remind children of the Road Safety Rules. In particular, how and where to cross the road correctly.
In addition, attach reflective elements to the child’s clothes and bicycles – this will make them visible to drivers in the dark or in conditions of limited visibility.
And the police remind drivers: be especially careful when approaching educational institutions, pedestrian crossings and intersections, as well as observe the rules for transporting children.
