Under the procedural leadership of the juvenile prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the pre-trial investigation was completed and the indictment against the director of the private enterprise was sent to the court. He is charged with taking possession of someone else’s property in large quantities and official forgery (Part 4 of Article 191, Part 1 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
It was established that the accused took possession of budget funds during the execution of contract works on the reconstruction and addition of one of the secondary schools in the Chervonohrad region.
To do this, he entered false information about the amount and cost of the materials used in the acts of acceptance of the completed works.
As a result, the business entity unjustifiably received almost UAH 600,000.
The pre-trial investigation was carried out by investigators of the investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region, operational support was provided by the Chervonograd district department of the SBU Department in the Lviv region.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
