The budget of the Lviv region will provide a subvention to the budget of the Kherson region. According to the order of the head of Lviv OVA, it is about the sum of 10 million hryvnias.
These funds are needed to help restore the infrastructure and material and technical base of budget institutions and communal enterprises of the Kherson region, damaged as a result of Russian aggression, as well as the purchase of construction materials for priority repair work on these objects.
“Kherson became a real symbol of the struggle of Ukrainians for their Independence in the war with Russia. For months, the city and the entire Kherson region suffered and continue to suffer devastating blows from the occupiers on critical and civil infrastructure facilities. In order to fully restore life in the liberated territories, it is necessary to take care of the restoration of institutions that support the vital activities of the region. This is the duty of every Ukrainian. Therefore, we call on all oblasts and OTG to join in providing financial and humanitarian aid to Kherson”, – stressed the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.
It is important that the funds of another subvention provided for in the regional budget of the Kherson region, unused at the end of 2022, remain in his account for the implementation of relevant expenses in 2023, taking into account the target purpose.
