IN “RAVI-RUSKIA” BORDER GUARDS EXPOSED THE “MOLODYAT” SCAM
On the border with Poland, border guards uncovered another scheme for illegal crossing of the border by men of conscription age.
In order to organize an illegal transfer, a man and a woman “gave birth” by marrying.
A 20-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were heading to a neighboring country through the Rava-Ruska checkpoint.
During the inspection, as a reason for going abroad, the “spouses” from Vinnytsia provided a marriage certificate and a disabled person’s certificate of the II group of the citizen.
During the additional inspection, operatives of the Lviv detachment established that the bride and groom entered into a marriage so that the husband could go abroad as an escort for a person with a disability.
The police officers were informed about this fact. The woman was informed of the suspicion of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code “Illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine.”
