On 11 February, at 18:13, the Rescue Service “101” received a report of a fire in the village of Solonka, Lviv district. The fire broke out in a brick outbuilding on the territory of a gardening company.
Rescuers from the 30th and 4th State Fire and Rescue Units of Lviv were sent to the scene.
When the firefighters arrived at the scene, the roof of the building was engulfed in flames. There was a threat of the fire spreading to nearby buildings.
At 18:50, the firefighters contained the fire and extinguished it at 19:03.
The fire destroyed the roof of the building and household items in the building over an area of 14 square metres.
Firefighters managed to save the building from complete destruction and prevent the fire from spreading to two nearby garden houses.
A total of 9 firefighters and 2 units of special equipment were engaged in the firefighting operations. The causes and circumstances of the fire are under investigation.
