Street lights will be turned off for a while in Novoyavorivska hromada from today. How long street lighting will be absent in the dark depends on the situation.
‼️ We call on the residents of the community to reduce electricity consumption in the evening if possible, because this will help pass the critical loads of our power grids.
We also appeal to private entrepreneurs to ensure that the illumination of advertising signs in shops, restaurants (cafes) and other buildings is turned off, where possible.
This decision was made due to shelling of the electricity infrastructure in the unified energy system of Ukraine, which resulted in a shortage of generated power. Emergency services are currently eliminating the consequences of Russian missile strikes on the territory of the country.
