The 44th session of the Drohobytsk City Council took place

On November 30, the 44th session of the Drohobytsk City Council took place. Deputies reviewed and approved a number of decisions related to the budget, ensuring the stable operation of local utility companies, land use, and support for military units defending Ukraine from the enemy.

Work began traditionally on budget issues – in particular, amendments to the budget and the quarterly report on the implementation of the budget of the Drohobych Territorial Community. Since military personal income tax was taken from local communities on October 1 and transferred to the state budget, the local treasury has not received more than 25 million hryvnias over the past two months. Unfortunately, in the plan for this year, these funds were provided for specific expenses – support of military units, security measures and ensuring the stable operation of strategically important enterprises of the community.

Subsequently, the deputies considered a number of measures in the field of land use, leasing and privatization of community property, education, medicine and the work of local KPs.

Also, the body of deputies considered the appeal of Maria Tyazhkun, a deputy of the Drogobytsk City Council. The woman is abroad and cannot fulfill her duties as a deputy, so she applied for the termination of her parliamentary powers.

The session satisfied the appeal, so after passing all the necessary procedures of the TEC, the next candidate on the list will become a deputy of the city council.
