At the Kyiv Athletics Championships for adults and juniors, athletes from the municipal institution of the Lviv Regional Council “Olympic Training Centre” claimed three medals, and Yurii Mudryk set a new record for the Lviv region.
Yurii Mudryk won two gold medals. In the 100-metre race he finished with a time of 10.49 seconds. This was not only his personal best, but also a record for the Lviv region among athletes in the U20 age category. In the 200-metre race the athlete also came first, clocking 21.72 seconds.
Another medal for the team was won by Maksym Karaiim, who took silver in the 800-metre race in the adult competition.
The Olympic Training Centre thanked the athletes and coaches for their successful performance and noted that these results are an important step in preparing for the next competitions.
