Track and field athlete Yuliia Havryliak (Hryhorieva) from the settlement of Krasne delivered a strong performance at the international Challenger Oulu athletics tournament, held in the Finnish city of Oulu. In the 800-metre race she finished second with a time of 2:05.73, earning a silver medal.
This event became another successful outing for the athlete on the international stage this season. Earlier, on 11–14 June 2026, Yuliia Havryliak also took second place at the international “Dromia International Sprint and Relays Meeting” in Athens. There, in the 800-metre race, she clocked 2:06.91 and once again stepped onto the second tier of the podium.
The athlete is currently preparing for her next major event — the Ukrainian Athletics Championships, scheduled to take place on 10–12 July in Lviv at the NSC “SKIF” stadium.
Yuliia Havryliak’s name is known not only for her sporting achievements. In 2024 she won the 800-metre race, dedicating this victory to the memory of her brother, Oleksii Hryhoriev, who was killed at the age of 26 while carrying out a combat mission in Kherson region.
