
The young athletes of the Busk Youth Sports School named after Yu. Mochulskyi claimed first place in the team standings among youth sports schools at the Ukrainian U14 Athletics Championships. The competition took place on 22–23 May 2026 in Ivano-Frankivsk.
Boys and girls born in 2013–2014 took part in the championships, competing in the biathlon and pentathlon. The athletes from Busk produced a series of personal bests and high positions in the individual rankings.
Ostap Skalotskyi (born 2013) won silver, clocking 42.82 in the 300 m and 26.65 in the 200 m. Both races were personal bests for the athlete. His coach is M.P. Haievskyi.
Taras Khshanovskyi (born 2013) secured another silver. Over 600 m he finished in 1:46.37, and in the 200 m — 28.55, improving his personal bests. The athlete is also coached by M.P. Haievskyi.
Sofiia Kubitska (born 2013) took bronze, running 8.53 in the 60 m and 27.58 in the 200 m, setting a personal best. She is coached by V.Yu. Yeretyk, Yu.V. Yeretyk and D.M. Khavan.
Myroslav Kozak (born 2014) finished fifth with 3:18.62 over 1000 m and 46.53 in the 300 m. Both races were personal bests for him. His coaches are D.M. Khavan, V.Yu. Yeretyk and Yu.V. Yeretyk.
Solomiia Babiychuk also took fifth place in the 2000 m (11:35.98) and 600 m (2:03.80), where she likewise improved her personal bests. She is coached by V.Yu. Yeretyk, Yu.V. Yeretyk and D.M. Khavan.
Iryna Kozak, competing in the pentathlon, set a personal best of 11.45 in the 60 m hurdles. Her coach is D.M. Khavan.
Thanks to the successful performances of its athletes, the Busk Youth Sports School named after Yu. Mochulskyi confirmed its high standard of preparation and was able to secure the team victory among youth sports schools of Ukraine.
