Lviv’s artistic gymnasts achieved significant success at the Ukrainian championship in Uzhhorod.
From December 1 to 5, two major artistic gymnastics events took place in Uzhhorod: the Ukrainian team championship and the Ukrainian championship among sports clubs. The competitions featured 180 teams in group exercises and 69 sports clubs from all over Ukraine.
Athletes from Lviv region won 22 medals: 12 gold, 4 silver, and 6 bronze. In the Ukrainian team championship (group exercises), the champions were the team ‘Lviv – 2’, comprising of Sidoryak Karina, Yerhieva Anna, Khrypyak Ulyana, Zhytnyak Victoria, Stetsiv Zlata-Maria, and Abramovich Yelyzaveta.
The bronze medalists were the team ‘Lviv – 1’, including Yakymiv Anna-Maria, Yatsunda Anastasia, Lema Anna, Kostetska Victoria, Sumalo Anna-Maria, and Mazur Diana. In the program of the I adult category, the champions were the team ‘Lviv – 1’, which included Hurska Anna, Smolnytska Victoria, Sehin Zlata, Ovcharova Luiza, Huk Maria, and Boiko Khrystyna.
In the Ukrainian championship among sports clubs, the silver medalists were the team SC ‘Bagira – 1’, consisting of Sidoryak Karina, Scheletska Anastasia, Skryhina Veronika, and Obukh Yuliya. “Congratulations to the gymnasts and coaches on their incredible achievements and a bright end to the season!” – noted the Lviv Regional Federation of Artistic Gymnastics.
