The final competitions of the third stage of the ‘Side by Side. All-Ukrainian School Leagues’ project in athletics were held at the sports complex of the Busk Youth Sports School named after Y. Mochulsky. The event took place on 11th May with the participation of teams from the 5–9 and 3–4 grade categories from the territorial communities of the Zolochiv district.
The competitions included relay races, speed runs, jumps and combined relays, providing the spectators with exciting moments. The youngest participants, specifically the 3–4 grade students, were particularly impressive, showcasing their initial sporting skills and emotions.
The results of the competitions among 5–9 grades were as follows:
- 1st place — team from Brody General Secondary Education I–III Level School No. 4
- 2nd place — team from Busk General Secondary Education I–III Level School No. 1
- 3rd place — team from Zolochiv General Secondary Education School No. 1
- 4th place — team from Andriyiv General Secondary Education I–III Level School
Among the 3–4 grades, the leaders were:
- 1st place — team from Brody General Secondary Education I–III Level School No. 3
- 2nd place — team from Voronyaky General Secondary Education I–III Level School
- 3rd place — team from Pomoryany General Secondary Education I–III Level School
- 4th place — team from Zavodske General Secondary Education I–III Level School
The organisers expressed their gratitude to the Busk Youth Sports School, trainers, judges, and participants for their contributions to the event. Special thanks were extended to the defenders of Ukraine who ensure that children have the opportunity to engage in sports.
