The students and graduates of the Busk Sports School distinguished themselves at the Ukrainian Athletics Championships, winning medals and setting personal records.
On June 17–18, 2025, the U23 Youth Championship of Ukraine took place in Lviv. Ulyana Rachynska won gold in the 1500 m race with a time of 4:22.96. “It was a tough competition, but I am happy that I was able to win,” said Ulyana. Viktoriya Dizhak won silver in the 10,000 m race walk with a time of 53:18.87. Mykhailo Mazepa claimed bronze in the 1500 m race with a personal best of 3:55.04. Mariya Mykhaliuk set a personal best in the 400 m at 58.48.
On June 13–15, 2025, in Lviv, the Ukrainian Championship for boys and girls born in 2008 and younger (U18) took place. The students of Busk Sports School performed remarkably. Maksym Havryliuk matched his personal record in the high jump, finishing 5th with a height of 185 cm. Veronika Smolinska made it to the top 10 with a personal best time of 2:25.12 in the 800 m. Pavlo Petryshyn set a personal best in the 800 m with a time of 2:06.33. Vadym Rostikus ran 800 m in 2:09.50, and Maksym Daragan finished the 5000 m race walk with a time of 25:50.32.
