On October 5, the regional athletics championship among young men born in 2006 was held in Lviv. and younger
Pupils of Chervonogradska Secondary School No. 2 performed well at these competitions and won high awards. In particular, Oleksandr Mykitko won two “silver” medals – from the 100- and 200-meter races; Stanislav Oliynyk took 2nd place in the long jump and 3rd place in the high jump. There was no equal to Yulian Matviyev in the triple jump, who, by the way, also won “bronze” in the high jump.
Among girls, Anna Kovrygina took 2nd place in the triple jump and 3rd place in the high jump; Viktoriya Lozynska won “silver” in the 300-meter hurdles, and Vitaliya Nakonechna won “bronze” in the same type of competition.
