On 12 June 2026, in the village of Kyivets of the Rozvadiv territorial community, the funeral service will be held for Ukraine’s defender Yurii Mykhailovych Ostashevskyi. He was a native of the village of Vaniv, where he was born, studied, lived and worked at the Stepova mine.
The announcement states that when Ukraine needed its defenders, Yurii Mykhailovych stood up for the defence of the state.
For his family, friends and all who knew Yurii, transport from the village of Vaniv to the burial site will be arranged. Departure is scheduled for 12 June 2026 at 10:00.
