On Monday, April 15, the village of Silets in the Dobrotvir community will welcome home fallen soldier Volodymyr Ilkiv, who gave his life defending Ukraine.
Residents are invited to come together in mourning and pay their respects to the Hero returning to his native land. The memorial procession will pass through several locations.
Tentative schedule of events:

12:00 PM — memorial service in the village of Zhovtantsi near the Church of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God (OCU)

12:30 PM — Gospel reading at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (OCU) in Kamianka-Buzka

12:40 PM — Gospel reading at St. Nicholas Church (UGCC), Kamianka-Buzka

12:50 PM — Gospel reading at St. George’s Church in the village of Ruda Siletska

1:00 PM — solemn reception of the Hero at the entrance to Silets
A bus will depart at 12:30 PM from Dobrotvir (14 Ivana Franka Street) for anyone wishing to join the memorial tribute.
The Dobrotvir community has declared April 12–15 as days of mourning in honor of Volodymyr Ilkiv.
