Lviv Bids Farewell to Hero Vladyslav Amirov

On January 15, Lviv will honor the memory of serviceman Vladyslav Amirov, who died fighting against Russian occupiers.

The city authorities urge residents and guests of the city to join the farewell ceremony and refrain from entertainment. “The City Council calls on Lviv residents and city guests to join the city farewell ceremony”, stated the announcement.

The ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM at the Garrison Church of Sts. Peter and Paul, and will then continue at Rynok Square.

The defender will be buried at the Lychakiv Cemetery, in the field of honor No.87.

Vladyslav Amirov was born in 1998 in Lviv and studied at the National University “Lviv Polytechnic”. In 2025, he stood for Ukraine’s defense against the aggressor. He served in the 152nd Separate Ranger Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Donetsk front.
