The Hero Pavlo Vereshchak’s Return to His Community
Tomorrow, April 16th, the Hero Pavlo Vereshchak returns to his native community ‘on the shield’. The mourning cortege will be met in Sheptytskyi approximately at 12:30. After meeting the Hero, at 14:00, a Requiem Service and funeral ceremony will begin at the Church of the Holy Theotokos, the Mistress of Ukraine. The Warrior will be buried at the Heroes’ Alley at the Bendyuzhsky Cemetery.
We ask the community to meet our Hero and suitably bid him farewell on his final journey, as he gave the most valuable thing – his own life for our independence and for each one of us.
