Today, 175 Ukrainian soldiers have returned from enemy captivity. As reported by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, among them are servicemen of the Armed Forces, national guardsmen, border guards, as well as seven civilians. These include privates, sergeants, and officers who defended our country in various regions, including Mariupol, at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant, and in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kyiv, and Kursk directions.

Most of them had been in captivity since 2022.

“I thank the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and all partners who made this exchange possible. May every Ukrainian family be reunited with their loved ones. We must bring everyone back,” emphasised Maksym Kozytskyi.
