The Sheptytska City Council has shared the tragic news of the death of 23-year-old Ukrainian defender Roman Yuriiovych Vynnyk, a resident of the community. The young soldier served in the naval infantry unit A4765 as a sailor and grenadier.
The tragic incident occurred on May 19 near the village of Zapsillia in the Poltava region. Roman lost his life in a road traffic accident while performing his military duties.
The Sheptytska community extends heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and comrades of the fallen Hero. Words cannot ease the pain of such a tremendous loss.
We bow our heads in gratitude and remembrance of Roman’s sacrifice, recognizing that Ukraine’s freedom comes at the highest cost. Eternal memory and glory to the Hero!
