27-year-old Sergeant Pavlo Lozinskyi from Sheptytska community killed in combat mission

A dark week has fallen upon the Sheptytska community as heartbreaking news emerged — on November 19, a local Hero and Defender of Ukraine, 27-year-old Pavlo Volodymyrovych Lozinskyi, lost his life in battle for the country’s freedom and independence.

From the very beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Pavlo stood up to defend his homeland. For three years, he fought in some of the most intense combat zones, showing true courage and resilience.

Tragically, during a combat mission, Sergeant Pavlo Lozinskyi, who served as the squad leader of an engineer-sapper platoon in military unit A4733, was killed following an attack by an enemy FPV drone.

He is remembered as a Warrior of Light who remained faithful to his oath and his country until his last breath. His sacrifice stands as a moral compass and an example of unbreakable spirit for all of us.

The Sheptytska City Council extends its heartfelt condolences to Pavlo’s family and loved ones. We mourn his passing, bow our heads in sorrow, and thank him for his bravery and devotion.

May the memory of Pavlo Lozinskyi live on in the hearts of all future generations. Eternal glory to the Hero!
