The community has reported the death of 36-year-old defender Ivan Hmernytskyi. He was serving as a private and held the position of senior radio sapper-grenadier within the controlled mining unit of military unit A1302.
Contact with the serviceman was lost in September 2025, and since then his family and friends had hoped for his return. It has recently been officially confirmed that Ivan Hmernytskyi was killed on 25 September 2025 near the settlement of Rayske in the Donetsk region.
