41st Separate Mechanised Brigade receives first four Novator 2 armoured vehicles from Ukrainian Armour and the SBI

Ukrainian Armour, together with the State Bureau of Investigation, has handed over the first four Novator 2 armoured vehicles to the 41st Separate Mechanised Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The vehicles were purchased with funds raised during a joint fundraising campaign announced by the brigade and the SBI in January this year.

Thousands of citizens, business representatives, volunteers, SBI employees and project partners joined the initiative. In total, more than UAH 90 million was raised. With these funds, seven armoured vehicles are being manufactured for the 41st Separate Mechanised Brigade: four are already ready to be handed over to the military, while the remaining three are at the final stage of production.

Deputy Commander of the 41st Separate Mechanised Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Viacheslav Hrebennikov, stressed that he had personally been convinced of the reliability of the company’s vehicles during combat operations, in particular in Soledar and Chasiv Yar. According to him, in the Kupiansk sector these vehicles will be used to safely transport personnel to dismounting points.

The Novator 2 armoured vehicle has been developed taking into account the real combat experience of Ukrainian troops. The vehicle is designed to carry up to 10 service personnel, has enhanced protection for the crew and dismounts, a powerful engine and improved off-road capability, allowing it to operate on difficult sections of the front.

Ukrainian Armour emphasises that every improvement to the Novator is based on feedback from soldiers who use these armoured vehicles every day in the combat zone. The company notes that the main indicator of the quality of the equipment is the lives saved and combat missions successfully accomplished, and that this project was made possible thanks to the joint efforts of everyone who contributed to the fundraising campaign.
