46-year-old soldier from Dobryachyn Volodymyr Semochko returned from Russian captivity

Another resident of the Sheptytska community has returned home after being held in Russian captivity. Among the 300 Ukrainian defenders released during today’s prisoner exchange is 46-year-old Volodymyr Andriyovych Semochko, a resident of the village of Dobryachyn.

Volodymyr serves as a soldier in the 59th Separate Assault Brigade of Unmanned Systems named after Yakiv Handziuk. Contact with the serviceman was lost in June 2024 while he was performing combat tasks in the war zone.

Several months later, it became known that during a combat mission near Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region, the Ukrainian defender was captured by enemy forces.
