Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders today
🕯️ Denys Gura
He lived in the town of Sudova Vyshnia. He was the driver of the communication department of the 7th Coastal Defence Company of the military unit A4935. He died on 8 March during a combat mission in the village of Kizomys, Kherson region.
🕯️ Serhiy Radchuk
A resident of the village of Mylyatychi in the Solonkivska community. The soldier served in the 80th separate airborne assault Galician brigade. He died on 25 February 2022 near the village of Shylova Balka, Kherson region. He was considered missing for a long time. He was 22 years old.
🕯️ Artem Kaimov
A resident of Brody, Zolochiv district. He was a participant of the ATO. He served since 2015 in the 26th Artillery Brigade named after Major General Roman Dashkevych. He was awarded the insignia of the President of Ukraine for participation in the anti-terrorist operation. He died on 7 April 2025. The warrior was 35 years old.
🕯️ Volodymyr Vyshnevsky
A native of the village of Ustia, Mykolaiv community. He lived in Novyi Rozdil. In February 2022, he voluntarily came to the defence of Ukraine. He held the position of a rifleman. He went missing on 9 January 2023 while performing a combat mission near the village of Ivanivske, Bakhmut district. In February 2025, the soldier was declared dead by a court decision.
🕯️ Andriy Mokh
A resident of Lviv. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he voluntarily joined the 68th separate hunting brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush to defend his homeland. He performed combat missions in the Donetsk sector. He died on 16 June 2024. He was 27 years old.
🕯️ Valeriy Kuz
A resident of Lviv. After the start of the full-scale invasion of Russia, he joined the ranks of the 53rd separate mechanised brigade named after Volodymyr Monomakh. He fought against the occupiers in the Donetsk region. He died on 9 March. The soldier was 51 years old.
🕯️ Hryhorii Novikov
He lived in the village of Bilozerky, Kherson region. With the beginning of the full-scale war, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the 80th separate airborne assault Galician brigade. He performed combat missions on the Sumy and Kursk directions. He was repeatedly awarded by the military command for personal courage. He died on 4 April. He was 54 years old.
