The Truskavets community is preparing to receive the fallen Hero Andriy Dobronovskyi, who was killed while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Hrodivka in the Pokrovskyi district of Donetsk region on 17 June 2025. After nine months of uncertainty, DNA analysis confirmed his death.
Andriy Volodymyrovych Dobronovskyi was born on 22 February 1994 in Truskavets. He was his mother’s only son, graduated from the local school, studied as a car mechanic at a college in Drohobych, and worked at the State Emergency Service. He was married and had two children.
On Friday, 3 April, at 13:00, a gathering to honour the Hero will take place at the Heroes’ Crossroads. After the memorial service, the funeral procession will proceed to the Church of St. Elijah on Stus Street, where a parastas will be held at 18:00. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, 4 April, at 13:00.
