Sadly, the death of Truskavets resident Andrii Dobronovskyi on the battlefield has been confirmed. He had been considered missing in action for nine months, but a genetic examination confirmed the Hero’s death. Andrii was born on 22 February 1994 in Truskavets and was the only son raised by his mother.
Andrii Dobronovskyi completed his education at SZS #3 and worked as an auto mechanic. Later, he joined the State Emergency Service as part of the mountain rescue unit. Additionally, he lived with his wife and children in his hometown Truskavets. He was drafted in April 2024.
He served as an assistant grenade launcher operator in combat near the village of Hrodivka in the Donetsk region, where he was killed on 17 June 2025, at just 31 years old. Andrii Dobronovskyi will forever remain in our memory as a young Hero. We express our condolences to his mother, wife, and children.
