Andriy Shushpanov from Nahirne Posthumously Awarded a State Honour

Andriy Shushpanov from Nahirne, who served in the patrol police of the Lviv region under the call sign “Hunter”, was posthumously awarded a state honour. His widow received the “Defender of the Fatherland” medal from the President of Ukraine.

It is known that Andriy not only worked in the police but also served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, defending our country in the counter-terrorism operation. In addition, he joined the combat brigade “Predator” to defend Ukraine’s territorial integrity.

Shushpanov had already been recognised by the President of Ukraine for his participation in the counter-terrorism operation and for the defence of Ukraine. He repeatedly saved lives and apprehended criminals for the sake of Ukraine, peace and the safety of his family and all of us.
