
On the night of December 23, the Lviv region was once again subjected to an air attack by Russian occupation forces. According to the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, the enemy deployed combat drones directed at key locations within the region.
In his series of updates, the following developments were reported:
- At approximately 07:53, three hostile drones were detected heading toward the town of Khodoriv.
- By 08:00, residents of Novi Strilyshcha, Khodoriv, and Zhuravno were alerted to potential danger.
- At 08:31, a drone was reported en route to Novyi Rozdil.
- At 08:33, Kozytskyi warned of a possible strike using “Kinzhal” missiles, urging people to remain in safe shelters.
- At 09:10, the air raid alert for the Lviv region was officially lifted.
One of the critical energy infrastructure facilities in the region suffered damage as a result of the attack. In a final update, Kozytskyi stated that due to the efforts of air defense forces, the consequences were significantly reduced, and he expressed his gratitude to Ukraine’s defenders for their effective response.
Local authorities continue to monitor the situation and urge all residents to heed air raid warnings without delay.
