Farewell ceremonies were held in the Belz community for the fallen defender Volodymyr Susol. The warrior, who returned home on his shield, was met by residents of the town of Uhniv and the entire community.
People formed a living corridor of honour with bowed heads, State Flags and prayer, paying their last respects to the serviceman who stood up to defend Ukraine and gave his life for it.
During the joint prayer, those present honoured the memory of Volodymyr Susol and stressed the duty to preserve and pass on to future generations the stories of every defender who fought for the state’s freedom at the cost of his own life.
The community expressed its sincere condolences to his wife Tetiana, son Maksymko, mother Svitlana, sister Tetiana, and to all the relatives and loved ones of the fallen, sharing their pain and grief.
Eternal memory and glory to the Hero of Ukraine! Heroes do not die. They live on in our memory, in our freedom, in every peaceful day for which an unbearably high price has been paid.
