The Belz community, with deep sorrow, accompanied their compatriot, Junior Sergeant Kozar Mykhailo Vasylovych, on his final journey.
Mykhailo Vasylovych had long been considered missing, which brought months of pain for the family. Today, he returned home to find eternal rest on his native land. “In a living corridor, with Ukrainian flags, flowers, prayers, and tears in their eyes, the community members met the Hero,” – stated in the announcement. After the farewell near his home, the funeral procession moved to the church and cemetery, where the Defender was buried with full military honors.
We bow our heads low before the feat of Mykhailo Vasylovych, who gave his life for the freedom and independence of Ukraine. “We express our deepest condolences to his wife Myroslava, children, grandchildren, the entire family, close ones, and comrades of the deceased,” – the community added.
