Belz community bid a final farewell to Hero Vasyl Kombel, who died in battle for Ukraine’s independence.
Today, 17th of May 2025, the Belz community said goodbye to the Hero – Vasyl Ivanovych Kombel, born on 29.06.1976, who died fighting for the freedom, dignity, and independence of the Ukrainian people. On May 12, Vasyl, a driver-mechanic, was fulfilling his military duty, and unfortunately, an enemy explosive device took his life, yet Vasyl returned home – not defeated, but glorified.
Hero Vasyl Kombel joined the ranks of the heavenly army – the army of Light, Strength, and Honor. Now he is among those who protect Ukraine from the skies. His soul is free, just like the country for which he gave his life.
On behalf of the entire Belz community, we express our sincere condolences to the Hero’s family. We thank him for his devotion, for his courage, for his sacrificial love for the Motherland. His name will live in our hearts, in the future he defended…
