The Sokal community lost a hero in the war, junior sergeant Serhiy Mykolayovych Shutovsky, who was born on November 19, 1977, a resident of Sokal.
Sad news was announced today in the Sokal City Council.
Served as a senior foreman of the maintenance department for armored vehicles of the maintenance platoon of the 1st amphibious assault battalion of the A-0281 military unit. Yesterday, October 9, 2023, a Hero who took the Military Oath of Allegiance to the Ukrainian People died in a battle for Ukraine near the settlement of Klishchiivka, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region.
We sincerely sympathize with the family regarding the heavy loss – the death of Hero Serhiy Shutovsky.
