The Lviv Region KORD (rifle) police battalion fighters were awarded state honors and promoted ranks on the frontline.
Our warriors were honored for their bravery, diligent duty performance, and high professionalism on the occasion of the Defenders of Ukraine Day. Awards from the President of Ukraine “For the Defense of Ukraine,” distinguished badges “Mark of Honor,” recognitions from the National Police, departmental certificates, and promotional ranks were presented to the special purpose police battalion KORD (rifle) fighters on the Donetsk front by Deputy Chief of Police of Lviv Region Ivan Malysh and Head of the Main Inspection Office Oleg Ivaskiv.
Before presenting the awards, attendees observed a moment of silence in memory of the fallen Heroes. “You stand on the frontline, defending our land and our people. These awards are a sign of the Ukrainian people’s gratitude for your bravery and dedication. They embody your courage and serve as a reminder of the high cost of our peace” – Ivan Malysh addressed the police officers.
