
On the night of September 10, 2025, the Lviv region experienced a massive aerial assault launched by Russian forces. According to Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, the attack involved combat drones and missiles. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries reported.
Essential infrastructure across the region continues to operate normally, indicating the success of local air defense systems. Kozytskyi expressed his gratitude to the Air Defense Forces for their dedication and effective response.
Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi added that approximately 60 Shahed-type drones and over 10 missiles were launched towards the city during the night. Thanks to the well-coordinated efforts of the air defense units, the city was spared from significant damage.
