Weightlifter Bohdan Goza from Zhydachiv won two medals at the European U-23 Championship.
The European Weightlifting Championship for juniors and youth took place in Albania. The Ukrainian team was represented by 23 weightlifters in two age groups. Bohdan Goza competed in the weight category over 110 kg among athletes under 23 years of age.
The athlete from Zhydachiv won two medals. Goza’s results: “gold” in snatch (180 kg), fifth place in clean and jerk (203 kg), and “silver” in the total (383 kg), just one kilogram behind the first place.
