The defender Bohdan Hyrych from Tukhlya, located in the Slavske community, was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, 3rd Class. He received this high state award for his personal bravery and dedication demonstrated during the defence of Ukraine.
Bohdan Hyrych served as a rifleman-medic in the 118th Separate Mechanised Brigade. He was considered missing for over half a year and was killed on 23 July 2024 in the area of the settlement of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. At the time of his death, he was 51 years old.
The award was presented to the fallen warrior’s wife. Eternal and bright memory to the Hero!
