An unmanned aerial vehicle of the Omega special purpose centre has struck a Russian Su-24M bomber at the Saky airfield in occupied Crimea. According to the unit, the aircraft was being prepared for a new strike on the territory of Ukraine.
The special forces used two drones: the first hit the nose section of the aircraft, the second struck the fuel tanks. The destruction of the target has been confirmed, but details of the consequences of the strike are not being disclosed.
The Omega special purpose centre stresses that the operation was carried out professionally and left the enemy with no chance, and the work of Ukraine’s defence forces in this sector continues.
