The Sokal community lost another patriot, a loyal son of Ukraine.
Sad news was announced today in the Sokal City Council.
Vitaly KOGUTA, a resident of the village, was prematurely cut short by a serious illness. Zhvirky, a native of the village Uhryniv, secretary of the union of ATO participants of the Sokal district and the city of Chervonograd.
Vitaliy was a well-known person in Sokal, in the first days of the war in 2014, he stood up for the defense of Ukraine and was a member of the anti-terrorist operation. In August 2014, he passed the Ilovai boiler, was seriously wounded there, and was taken prisoner.
