The fourth anniversary is marked of the death of Ukrainian Defender Lyubomyr Mitrenha (13.06.1982 – 16.09.2022), who gave his life defending the country in the war against the Russian aggressor.
From the first days of the full-scale invasion, Lyubomyr Mitrenha joined the ranks of Ukraine’s defenders. He served in the 24th Separate Mechanised Brigade named after King Danylo, where he fulfilled the duties of a tank commander.
On 16 September 2022, during fierce fighting near the village of Ternovi Pody in Mykolaiv region, Junior Sergeant Lyubomyr Mitrenha died from fatal wounds sustained as a result of enemy artillery shelling.
Despite the passage of time, the memory of the fallen warrior remains alive for his family, friends, comrades-in-arms and all who knew him. His name is associated with courage, loyalty to the oath and devotion to Ukraine.
On the anniversary, his loved ones and comrades remember Lyubomyr Mitrenha, thanking him for his selfless service and contribution to defending the freedom and future of Ukraine.
