
The Radekhiv community has reported confirmation of the death of its native, Radekhiv resident Bohdan Dmytruk, born in 1984. The senior soldier, a former radio-telephone operator at the radio station of the engineering support group, was killed on 12 July 2024 while carrying out a combat mission to defend Ukraine.
After the serviceman went missing, he was considered missing in action for a long time. Only a DNA examination, the results of which were received on 27 August 2026, finally confirmed the defender’s death.
The Radekhiv City Council noted that the community shares the grief of the family, relatives, friends and comrades-in-arms of the fallen warrior, and calls in this time of mourning for united prayer and for preserving the bright memory of him.
The date and time of the arrival of the cortege with the body of the fallen serviceman, as well as details of the funeral service, will be announced separately.
