On 2 July, defender Volodymyr Shkudor returns to his home community on his shield. The mourning cortege with the soldier’s body is expected to be met in the settlement of Hirnyk at approximately 12:00.
After the cortege arrives, a Requiem Service will be held in the courtyard of Volodymyr Shkudor’s parental home.
The funeral rite is planned to take place in the Church of the Entry into the Temple of the Most Holy Mother of God. Volodymyr Shkudor will be laid to rest at the cemetery in the village of Silets.
The community is asked to join the farewell and to honourably accompany the defender on his final journey. Eternal memory and everlasting glory to the fallen warrior.
