Ivan Zhuk, a 40-year-old defender of Ukraine, is returning on his shield to his native village of Poltva. His heart stopped on 7 August in a hospital in the city of Chernihiv as a result of a serious illness.
On 13 August at 14:00, a funeral cortege carrying the serviceman’s body will set off from the morgue of the Burska CRL Municipal Non-Commercial Enterprise. The procession will then pass through the streets of the town of Busk — Lvivska and Ye. Petrushevycha — and afterwards travel via the urban-type settlement of Krasne and the village of Baluchyn to the village of Poltva.
At 15:00, the funeral service will begin in the church in the village of Poltva. Residents of Busk, Krasne and the surrounding settlements are being called upon to meet the funeral cortege in mourning and to see the warrior off with dignity on his final journey.
The announcement stresses that Ivan Zhuk conscientiously fulfilled his military duty, defended Ukraine and remained faithful to his military oath until the end.
