On 13 October, the body of defender Ihor Horban will return to his home community. The funeral cortege with the fallen soldier is expected to arrive in Sheptytske at around 16:00.
After the Hero is received, a memorial service will be held at 19:00 in the Church of St George.
The funeral service is scheduled for 14 October, with the religious rites beginning at 11:00. Ihor Horban will be laid to rest on the Alley of Heroes at the Bendiuzke cemetery.
Residents of the community are asked to join the farewell and honourably accompany the defender on his final journey.
