The Dobrotvir community has received the news of the death of its defender, Mykhailo Havrylchyn, who is returning to his native home for the last time, borne on a shield.
Havrylchyn Mykhailo Mykolaiovych was born on 11 July 1986 in the village of Tartak, Sheptytskyi district, Lviv region. During the full-scale war, he was called up for military service and served as a rifleman-sniper in the 3rd Air Assault Section of the 2nd Air Assault Platoon of the 5th Air Assault Company of the 2nd Air Assault Battalion of military unit A0284, conscientiously fulfilling combat missions to defend Ukraine.
According to his family, on 26 April 2025, Mykhailo Havrylchyn was killed near the settlement of Loknia in Sumy district, Sumy region, in battle for Ukraine, its freedom and independence. The defender gave his life defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state.
The fallen soldier had his own peaceful life, plans and dreams; his loved ones were waiting for him at home. The war mercilessly cut short his future, leaving deep pain for his family, friends and the entire community. The Dobrotvir community extends its sincere condolences to Mykhailo’s family and shares their grief at this irreparable loss.
